O Holy St. Anthony, gentlest of saints, your love for God and Charity for His creatures, made you worthy, when on earth, to possess miraculous powers. Miracles waited on your word, which you were ever ready to speak for those in trouble or anxiety. Encouraged by this thought, I implore you to obtain for me healthy in all senses of the word grandchildren from my two children and their husbands. The answer to my prayer may require a miracle; even so you are the Saint of Miracles. O gentle and loving St. Anthony, whose heart was ever full of human sympathy, whisper my petition into the ears of the Sweet Infant Jesus, who loved to be folded in your arms; and the gratitude of my heart will ever be yours. For Keilia, who is 22 with a four month old baby and has cancer. For Ezra, a baby, recently released from the hospital, who still has a lot of medical problems...he almost died at the hands of an abuser, but God has His hand on him. For my medical test, this week, that it will go well and in thanksgiving for the tests last week that were normal. For my brother, who is dying of cancer, please pray for his salvation and comfort.

The latter thrive on furthering two very dangerous sentiments: resentment and bitterness; qualities which bring forth anger. And anger is the root of hatred. Pray for us through Jesus, that the four main virtues of the Holy Spirit of God (wisdom, courage, self-control, fairness), will guide us to make to correct choice. Amen.
