A PRAYER FOR ‘THE TRANSFIGURATION OF OUR LORD JESUS’
At the Transfiguration, Father, You showed
Jesus in glory, a glimpse of what His disciples
would see in His risen life.
Bless us in our humanity,
with an awareness of Your presence,
leading us to share in Your divine life
even in our daily struggle.
Help us to deepen
our knowledge of the Law and the Prophets,
channels of Your grace throughout history,
and signposts for our journey.
Amen.
Fore healing of my body so in retirement I may be more able to serve the Lord in the church, for all who struggle to live in the Christian way, for healing of the Church, for all in need of daily sustenance and spiritual grace

Blessed Mary, mother of Jesus, and our mother, through your Son intercede for us. God, we pray for us who suffer from any addiction. Father in our daily torturous life we dishonour You. We gave several attempts and tried hard to overcome our addiction. We failed so many times that now we are disheartened.
