"One thing I ask from the Lord, this only do I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to gaze on the beauty of the Lord and to seek him in his temple." --PSALM 27:4**************"I SIPPED MY coffee, inhaling a mixture of the fresh brew and the crisp morning mountain air. The Smoky Mountains of Tennessee stretched wide before me as I enjoyed the quiet song of nature. The house behind me sat quiet as my family and friends slept in, enjoying a week of refreshing vacation. As I soaked in the alone time, I heard a buzzing at my right shoulder. I turned my head and came face - to-face with a vibrant hummingbird. It hovered at my shoulder for a few seconds and then disappeared over the porch railing and into the mountains. I sat in breathless awe. What a gift to have such a close encounter with a hummingbird. I'd never been eye to eye with one before. The next morning, I sat on the porch with my coffee again. MY Bible lay open on my lap as I thanked God for this week of respite with friends in such a beautiful location. I again heard buzzing at my right shoulder. I turned my head slowly, facing the hummingbird once more. Tears came to my eyes at the gift of a repeated unusual encounter. I held my breath, feeling a holiness in the moment. It were as though God was working to get my attention, so I could see Him in this encounter. In the busyness of everyday life, I often forget to stop and savor God's gifts around me or to even look for His presence and beauty. How many fuchsia sunsets have I missed? How many birds chattering in nests above me? How many babies' smiles have I buzzed right past too busy moving to stop and appreciate being in this beautiful world? The psalmist provides us with a beautiful and holy focus--to dwell in the house of the Lord and to gaze upon His beauty. Quiet, holy moments such as the ones with a hummingbird at my shoulder remind me to slow down and to look for the beautiful gifts God gives us each day." --AMELIA RHODES*************Enjoy a blessed, safe, & Very Joyous Holy Week!

Eternal Father, I praise and thank You for wanting me as if I were of utmost importance on earth, and for easing my life by giving me Jesus Your Son as my guide, saviour, and redeemer. Dear God, I prayed to my husband Jim this week to help me get through some procedures I had today. He use to take me but now I have to rely on family, and I hate to ask them since they have busy lives too. My niece Justine took me to the office and was really great in just being there and we even had fun. We are having Easter as a family at my house on Sunday. I had to get up very early and was ready to leave by 6:00 and saw the sunrise. My husband loved sunrises and I took it as a sign that he was alive and well with You. The nurse at the office said I should get up early every morning and look for the sunrise. I take that to mean that I should stop worrying about other stuff going on and really just start my day spending some time with you, even if it is just looking at a sunrise. Sunrises to me represent a new birth, and a sense that both You and Jim are always with me all the time. Thank You and Jim for taking care of me today. Love You, Deb

Please Dear God and Angels bring my 3 Grandbabies back home to our family ! We have court on April 23 & 24 we can not do this by ourselves! Please God they are so little we need them, they need us. Please Dear God please have Franklin County Childrens Services return them to our Family! I love them with all my heart and soul I do not want to live without them. We all make mistakes their parents have gone to all the classes and counseling they were suppose to. I know I should have cut all my hair off to prove there were no lice on my hair. I was thrown into a very deep depression when they were taken from me. Their should not have called in false charges against me over and over and lied on me. I am trying to forgive her but God it is very hard. Please God Please Grant me this 1 Prayer bring my 3 Grandbabies back home. Please guide the Judge to see that they belong back home. Their parents are no longer on drugs the domestic volience has stopped . We love and need them. I need them mentally, physically and emointionally. Please God and Angels I am dying inside I do not want to live any longer without my Grandbabies ! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE help us! I know deep in my heart with God all things are possible !
