Lord God, Jesus, Saint Joseph, Saint Cajetan, and Saint Jude: I humbly ask that you look upon my husband with mercy and help him find a job closer to home. He commutes 2 1/2 hours each way to his current job, and it's wearing on his body and his morale. He works with people who do not appreciate or respect him. Please help him find a job in which his knowledge and expertise will be acknowledged, one in which he'll feel fulfilled and happy. Thank you.

Dear God, please be with my mother during her kidney stone procedure. Let everything go smoothly and let her not be in any pain. Please keep her blood pressure down and help her not worry so much. Amen.

Lord, please remove the arrogance and hunger for power from Congress and the President and open their eyes to the fact they are hurting the country with their unwillingness to compromise on the budget. Please let this government shutdown end soon and let the employees affected get the assistance they need to be able to pay their bills and feed their families. Lord almighty please help the bureaucracy and out of touch political leaders who are getting paid make and pass laws for their own self interest first while everyone else has little to no control of their own employment, finances and alternatives. Allow words truth and honesty to show everyone the the true reality of the corrupt and scheming political leaders. Fix, replace, remove, rehabilitate the political arena for the benefit of all hard working faithful people who do their best live everyday paycheck to paycheck when they can get one.
