ASH WEDNESDAY - O God, with ashes on our forehead we begin Lent knowing that the rest of the journey will not be pubic like today but perhaps more personal, more one on one with you. We will give up things or perhaps do things to hopefully focus our lives on what is most important. We will pray to draw strength for the journey. We will give of ourselves as your ambassadors so that it is not just about "me" but about "us" about You! And so, as we journey, we ask you to create in us a clean heart and renew in us a steadfast spirit. Help us to remember that now, today is the right time, the acceptable time to encounter and know your love. Fill us with the hope that by your grace we are journeying together in your love. Amen!

Holy Father please protect and take care of my dearest friend whom is in an abusive relationship please give her the strength needed please I ask you to let her partner see the error of his ways especially the ongoing mental torture he is putting her and her young son through please grant that some time soon her life will change for the better thank you Lord.

Heavenly Father from my heart I give You thanks, praises and glory for You are so kind and so loving to mankind. You who made man in Your own image and likeness, shower him with inexhaustible love and abundance. You give us Your own Son to pay for all our sins. You give us His own perfect earthly mother to be our mother too. And such a mother is only as happy as her saddest child. So in Jesus’ name, I pray God let the saddest children of our Lady of Sorrows find solace and taste happiness. Amen.

Much appreciation for Fr Fagan's introduction, recessional words, for facilitation of the Sunday Mass, the Gospel & Homily were well received, uplifting & very well understood. For Fr Greene, Eucharistic Minister, the Lector, inspiring, the Orchestra, enjoyed, the Choir, the parents, guardians, teachers, & students, the Freshman from Xavierian High School, the students of St Joseph Academy, LIC., refreshing & terrific seeing them give their attention in following the Mass, & seemed to be well behaved. Be Proud! "Way to Go!" ********For the parishioners, the viewers, donors, benefactors, all those that make the Sunday Mass possible, I'm most grateful. Dear Lord; I am exhausted, 24/7 construction & toxic fumes from a neighbor attached to me over 7yrs 6mos., destruction of my health(I'm under doctors' care) & home, then I'm enduring other neighbors from before 7am thru between 6pm to 9+pm. NO PERMITS! Last night, I was awoken at 2am, then 4am, & before 7am, by my attached neighbors. I'm asking for JUSTICE, PEACE OF MIND, an ability to live in the comfort of my home of 46 yrs, that is now being demolished by their continuous 24/7 construction, heavy banging, use of heavy machinery, causing my walls, floors & ceilings to separate & buckle, they've cut through the firewalls, broken into my chimney causing carbon monoxide poisoning, dismantled their furnace, installed piping, from 4/19-5/9/19, they've had a gas leak, I did become deathly ill, they've broken under my furnace causing water to sprout up through it, they've knocked holes into walls, an old picture, I've had for 42 yrs came off the wall at 1:26am. I've had to have contractors, roofer 6 times in 7 yrs , as they caused leaks, separation of walls & ceilings, this passed month or so, I notice my front pitched roof is buckling, as they've infringed on my property, causing my trap door to drop into my closet with the light that's fixed to the wall, & panel came down, & now city inspectors, Department of Buildings, DEP, Department of Health, Police, Fire, Emts, and not able to grieve my three siblings, my good & close friends, & other relatives over the passed 6 years, a surviving brother with colon cancer, surviving sister with lung cancer, daughter in law with breast & ovarian cancer, other close friends & relatives battling with cancer. And the legal battle I am dealing with due to my ex putting his name back on the deed, even though I was awarded the house & bought him out, in taking 40% instead of 50% of his pension, this is after a 30 yr marriage, we were divorced 18 yrs ago, I just now found this information out, it validated why I couldn't get a loan, the Enhanced Star, or sell my house! Now due to the attached neighbors destruction of my health & home, I have to pay to have a Home Inspector in, Dear Lord, forgive me for venting, I 'm so overwhelmed with stress, I am in need of Your hands over me, guide me, send me Your MIRACLES & the JUSTICE I'm so yearning & PEACE OF MIND! Please Lord, help & hear my prayers!
