You marked his body with the five wounds of Christ Crucified, as a Powerful witness to the saving Passion and Death of Your Son. Endowed with the gift of discernment, St. Pio labored endlessly in the confessional for the salvation of souls. With reverence and intense devotion in the celebration of Mass, he invited countless men and women to a greater union with Jesus Christ in the Sacrament of the Holy Eucharist. I pray Lord that Dennis may be delivered from his possessions by the deceased from his abusive childhood in the past. He loses himself into his childhood wounds. I pray Lord that Bryan, Amber and Jackson thrive in these times and keep their jobs. I pray Lord that Laura finds love and friends. I pray Lord that I may have help in doing the right things. Please lay Your hands over M.N. to let down her selfish control, feel the love she had for her husband B.N(suffers with dementia, Coronavirus, a Vietnam Vet), to treat him with dignity & respect, & for her son, who is the care-giver of the father, giving up his life, with no pay & tends to the needs of his mother too, not able to socialize with friends or family without his mom right by his side, controlling every move of her family, although she doesn't need to, but doesn't want to stay home with her husband, nor to put him in a nursing home, allowing her son(not getting paid) to have a life, his own financial relief, being crippled should he want to go out & get a job, as he's been caregiver for over 8 years with no benefits to show he is working for his parents. Please Lord, send M.N. & her family Your Miracles, to follow in your footsteps, have patience, show compassion and love to all her loved ones, to stop being selfish & open her heart to the Lord. In many cases, the main thing we have in common is our faith in Jesus. This isn't true of my personal life. Some of my closest friends and family look at Jesus and the cross in a different light than I do. They consider the gospel a fairy tale. Others question the validity of any sort of higher power.***I've prayed and shared my views with them and will continue doing so. As ide from that, I plan to step back and let Christ do His work. That's good news. He often does better without my "help." ****Years ago, my father lost a battle against cancer. This highly intelligent man bore a stubborn streak deeper than anyone I've ever met. Cynical retorts blocked any path I'd lay toward our Savior. As Dad lay on his deathbed, I'd all but abandoned hope, considering his salvation an impossibility. It was time to let Jesus take over. Jesus stretched His hand to touch my father's heart. At last, Dad accepted Him and was saved. Jesus's timing was perfect, as always.****No one is beyond His reach. Right now I'm interceding for a specific person's salvation. When we're together, I pull the Lord's name into our conversations. I hope to draw my loved one's interest.
