For Fr Ruttle, facilitating the Mass, Gospel & his enlightening & uplifting Homily, for Bro. Michael, Eucharistic Minister, for the Lector, inspiring, for the Orchestra, always truly entertaining, the Choir, enjoyed, especially Liseli Lugo's communion song & the harmonizing of all. For the teachers, parents(guardians) & students of Holy Trinity Academy in White Stone, NY, be proud, how refreshing to see these young students following attentively the Mass & were very well behaved. "WAY TO GO!" For the parishioners, viewers, donors, benefactors, all whom make the Sunday Mass possible. John 10: 3-4 (NLT)*******"ON A LEDGE ABOVE THE desk where I write sit two stuffed toy sheep approximately eight inches tall. One is dressed like a shepherd from biblical times, cloaked in a brown striped robe and head covering. He hugs a staff in the crook of one elbow, and he wears lace-up sandals on his hind feet. The other wears four lime-green socks with purple toes. Two wee daisies-yellow and pink-are tucked behind one ear. **These comical lambs survived my household purge because they convey a vital message: I constantly need Jesus, the Good Shepherd. **Sheep aren't exactly the smartest animals on the farm. They're easy prey. They wander off safe paths to places where they become lost or hurt. They're prone to becoming "cast" -rolling onto their backs when their center of gravity is displaced-and dying in that position if not rescued. They're unable to care for themselves. Apart from their shepherd's vigilance, they're in constant jeopardy. ** Every day my little woolly lambs silently remind me that I'm not much different from them. Apart from Jesus, I'm in jeopardy too. I duped myself into believing I'm smarter or stronger than I am, and I venture down paths that seem right but lead to danger. Everything changes when I regard Jesus as my Shepherd. He protects , guides, and provides for me.
