I also thank You for how our civil authorities are handling this crisis to protect us from harm. Abbā, in Jesus’ name, and with the petition of Mary, His Blessed Virgin Mother and our Mediatrix, bless James, our Chemist and those in the same discipline. I am asking for your prayers for my husband, Joseph, for a good bladder cancer report for his June 22, 2020 checkup. Thank our Father in heaven for the blessing that the cancer did not spread and that he continues to get good reports. We ask the Father for continued blessings so that Joseph will remain cancer free from all forms of cancer in all parts of his body. We also pray that Holy Spirt will guide us regarding the healing of Joseph’s complete rotator cuff tear and torn bicep and also the purchase of a new retirement home to lessen the burden of home maintenance. "Cast all you anxiety on him because he cares for you." 1 PETER 5:7 (NIV)***********"FLORIDA, MY NEW HOME, is one of the nation's leading states for fishing. It's really obvious. Drive by any body of water from dawn to dark, and you'll see many, many people fishing. Men and women, young and old, from piers, off the coast, in waders, up to their necks, from boats and bridges...fishing is everywhere. People who fish (not me) know that casting is not passive. People cast in an athletic stance, forcefully launching their line into the deep. My husband is a longtime fisherman, and I sometimes tag along when he takes our boys. I can testify that casting isn't as easy as it looks. ***Today's Scripture tell us to cast our anxiety-our "cares" in some translations-fling it upon the Lord. Talk about hard to do! I need constant reminders that "casting" is a deliberate action I must choose to take. Over time, I've acquired and use a lot of different tools to practice casting. I pause and pray. Sometimes a simple "Help me, Jesus." I journal. I allow myself a fixed amount of time to ponder my cares. I read Scripture aloud, sing worship songs, write down my fear to place in my "God box, " surrendering it to the Lord. I call a friend and share my concern or, even better, I help someone else. Sometimes I do several things. Repeatedly.****Waiting for the anxiety to simply vanish on its own has not worked for me. I have to muster my spiritual might to claim the verse and actively entrust my cares to Him who care for me. Dear Lord please watch over my family. Provide them protection from those whom wish to do them harm. Provide peace of mind and guidance for my daughter. Protect and guide me at my positions for my three jobs. Let truthfulness, justice, and the moral compass of others prevail for me and my family. Continue to provide protection, safety, health, happiness, love, good spirits, financial stability and growth, and piece of mind to my family and me. Provide me the opportunity to grow my finances for the sake of my daughter’s education and towards my independence. Heal me from what ails me right now and get my body back to its healthy, lean state. Help D.J.s knee and soul heal that he may find peace with himself and his family, and help him grow his finances. Let there be authenticity, respect for me , truthfulness, sense of being valued, and genuine love in my relationship as that is what I am seeking and in need of at this time in my life. Help him have genuine show of appreciation for me, and be completely transparent and honest. God please protect and heal J.J. and provide him with comfort and love he needs during this difficult time. Protect D.J. ,all my friends, family, and me from getting any colds and viruses. Heal those with the virus, protect those who come in contact with the virus, especially our healthcare workers, law enforcement, grocery/store and delivery workers, those with compromised immune systems, elderly, those with underlying health conditions, and military. Dear Lord, I offer you this prayer, to help me with my current relationship situation. Please take away all the pain and hurt in my heart. Fill it with love, joy, patience, and understanding. Bless me and my partner, so that we may never surrender to whatever challenges that come our way. Fill our hearts with love for each other, and may you make each one of us realize each other’s worth. Please touch the heart of my partner and fill it with much love for me. Make our complicated relationship become uncomplicated. I seek for your mercy and blessing that you may allow us to spend the rest of our lives with each other. Please make this feeling mutual for both of us. Lead us not into temptations, especially during times of stress, feelings of being overwhelmed, and in situations/places that may lend to these temptations. Make us both seek and maintain exclusivity with each other in this relationship in our thoughts and actions and be honest at all costs. Let us look to each other for support and love. Guide us wherever we go. Always put us in each other’s heart and mind. Allow us to have spontaneity and romantic thoughts/ gestures towards one another. Make us unselfish in our thoughts and gestures towards one another. May there be truth and honesty between us even in difficult situations. May we verbally express our love for each other and our true intentions towards growing as a couple. Protect him from getting any viruses, other health issues, and colds during this time. Help me in my difficult time, especially to know what I should do in regard to the very difficult decision I must make. Please give me the clarity and wisdom to make the right choice, the choice that you want me to make. My Blessed Lord, please guide me. And once the decision is made, please give me and all of those involved peace and comfort of heart and mind. I make this prayer, trusting in your Infinite goodness and mercy, through the intercession of your Most Holy Mother.
