Lord thank you for the start of a new week and for the many blessing received and prayers answered, especially hearing from my son Jeremy who is living with mental illness, St. Dymphna please continue to watch over him. Lord bless all my children, family members and friends with your love and grace today and every day of their lives. Blessed Mother protect and keep my children safe, especially Jeremy, Holy Spirit light and guide their way, St. Jude help them with any difficulties they may encounter. Lord grant healing to all those fighting cancer and those affected with chronic illnesses especially arthritis. Lord continue to protect our Global Community from this pandemic, especially in the U.S. Lord grant healing to all those on our family prayer list. JESUS I PLACE ALL MY TRUST IN YOU. Amen.

Eternal God, let this new day be the one in which many will turn to You to give glory to Your name, worship You, and thank You for giving them the courage to return to You. In Jesus’ mighty name, I pray that in the tumult and din of this weird world encased in darkness, we may see the human glow-worms, honest persons who see to their jobs in full. Help them in their tasks and chores as they toil to be of services to others. Let them be our small beacons of hope that we may see You in them. Amen.

Matthew 19: 14 (NIV)*********"EVERY SUMMER OUR CHURCH OPENS its doors to the community by hosting a VBS(Vacation Bible School). This year, a group of older children stood at the back of the registration line. These rowdy kids had attended before, but now they were older and rowdier. One of the teachers whispered, "I thought we weren't accepting kids over twelve." The director responded. "All are welcome! Everyone needs Jesus." So we smiled, prayed for the best, and signed them up.***The older kids kept us on our toes that week. They were n't bad kids, they just tested their limits. And ours. Every night. I prayed for Jesus to touch the children, but the night it was my turn to teach the older ones, I prayed for guidance. Lots of it.*****The next day I took a deep breath and talked about creation."What's the opposite of beginning?" They answered, "The end." "Did you know that just as this world began, it'll end? Jesus will come back." They were captivated. The room was quiet. "The Bible shows us signs, and the time is near." The room erupted with questions. Several children stayed after class ans asked about salvation. These kids were reaching out for Jesus.***Jesus is always asking us to extend ourselves to those on the fringes...to children, to the elderly, to those who are unruly and unwanted.
