SEEKING GOD’S HELP - Help us O God, to be the people you have created us to be today. Help us to think before we speak, especially when our words are directed towards others. Help us to think before we write, especially when we are writing about others. Help us to act, respond and live as people committed to compassion, life and love. Dear Lord, I offer you this prayer, to help me with my current relationship situation. Please take away all the pain and hurt in my heart. Fill it with love, joy, patience, and understanding. Bless me and my partner, so that we may never surrender to whatever challenges that come our way. Fill our hearts with love for each other, and may you make each one of us realize each other’s worth. Please touch the heart of my partner and fill it with much love for me. Make our complicated relationship become uncomplicated. I seek for your mercy and blessing that you may allow us to spend the rest of our lives with each other. Please make this feeling mutual for both of us. Lead us not into temptations, especially during times of stress, feelings of being overwhelmed, and in situations/places that may lend to these temptations. Make us both seek and maintain exclusivity with each other in this relationship in our thoughts and actions and be honest at all costs. Let us look to each other for support and love. Guide us wherever we go. Always put us in each other’s heart and mind. Allow us to have spontaneity and romantic thoughts/ gestures towards one another. Dear Lord please watch over my family. Provide them protection from those whom wish to do them harm. Provide peace of mind and guidance for my daughter in her pursuit to college. Protect and guide me at my jobs., and assist me with obtaining and maintaining financial growth and stability. Let truthfulness, justice, and the moral compass of others prevail for me and my family. Continue to provide protection, safety, health, happiness, love, and piece of mind to my family and me. Provide me the opportunity to grow my finances for the sake of my daughter’s education and towards my independence, and protect my investment on the board that it will grow and I will reap a return god willing. Make her become more independent, grow cognitively, and prepare her to handle college and what life throws her way. Heal me from what ails me right now and get my body back to its healthy, skinny state. Help D.J.s body and soul heal that he may find peace with himself and his family, and help him grow his finances. Let there be authenticity, respect for me, truthfulness, sense of being valued, and genuine love in my relationship as that is what I am seeking and in need of at this time in my life. Help him have genuine show of appreciation for me, and be completely transparent and honest. Protect D.J. ,all my friends, family, and me from getting any colds and viruses. Heal those with the virus, protect those who come in contact with the virus, especially our healthcare workers, law enforcement, grocery/store and delivery workers, those with compromised immune systems, elderly, those with underlying health conditions, and military. He was a blind preacher wife drove him to and from the gym. Besides that, I knew nothing about his life. ****One morning I walked into the fitness room to find Reverend Willis walking on his favorite treadmill and listening to music piped in over the gym speakers. The Lord spoke to me and moved me to inquire about his transportation for the day. The blind preacher replied that his wife's car was in the shop. The Lord then moved me to offer a ride home. I obeyed the Spirit and immediately Reverend Willis stopped the treadmill to clap his hands with delight. He said "I've been on this machine talking to God and praying for a ride." *****My encounter with Reverend Willis was proof that Jesus speaks. By His spirt, He speaks to each of us in prayer. He also speaks to us through Bible readings, sermons, friends, and His still, small voice that whispers to the soul. The Gospel of John says that the Lord's sheep know His voice (John 10: 4). Dear God, Thank you so much for all your blessings. Please also bless and give our family strength with what we’re going through especially my husband and son. Please bless that everything will work out for the better for the both of them and our family. Continue to keep our family safe. Please stop bad interaction and the need of force with law enforcement. Please help law enforcement to keep everyone safe be safe themselves and not have bad outcomes when involved with response to calls for their presence. Please stop the need and reaction of force that can lead to unpredictably outcome. Please stop the loss of life the injuries of confrontation. Please allow true facts to be known before bad behavior begins. Please stop destruction, violence, property damage, theft, physical assaults. PLEASE Lord heal the pain, anger, temperament, that out of control reactions create and feed. Please stop all bad actions, words and behavior. Please allow Love, forgiveness, healing, compassion, kindness , peace and humanity. Please help the world and all in it. Amen.
