SECOND SUNDAY OF LENT - O God creator of all good things, you are our light and our salvation, whom should we fear. You are the stronghold, the rock of our life, of whom should we be afraid? Help us as we live each day by discerning what is right and true, by taking comfort and always hoping in you. Guide us along your right path knowing that you are always with us and you will never leave us to face life alone. Amen!

Our Father, God of Love, in Your infinite wisdom, You made us man and woman to love each other as such and to serve You as we partake in Your plan of creation. Giving us this kind of responsibility is a clear sign that You want us to be Your partners in creation. Thank You, Abbā. I praise You for Your trust in us, give glory to Your divine name, and in Jesus’ name, I pray and plead. I pray for successful surgery for my husband and a quick recovery. I pray that my son makes a good decision for himself for college. I pray for God to watch over my family, especially my son and my mom. I pray that JM and family have a safe trip. I pray that we are protected and stay safe and healthy. Amen.

Prayer for the Intercession of St. Padre Pio Dear God, You generously blessed Your Servant, St. Pio of Pietrelcina, with the gifts of the Spirit. You marked his body with the five wounds of Christ Crucified, as a Powerful witness to the saving Passion and Death of Your Son. Endowed with the gift of discernment, St. Pio labored endlessly in the confessional for the salvation of souls. With reverence and intense devotion in the celebration of Mass, he invited countless men and women to a greater union with Jesus Christ in the Sacrament of the Holy Eucharist. Through the intercession of St. Pio of Pietrelcina, I confidently beseech You to grant me the grace of healthy in all senses of the word grandchildren from my two daughters.
