Merciful God, as I woke up this morning, I wanted to greet You for a new day and thank You for a restful night. However, my first thoughts went for the people worldwide who have lost their homes for ravaging fires which they did not start. Without trying to see who is to be blamed, in Jesus’ name, I pray and beg You, please stand with all the victims and touch the heart of those who can help in these circumstances.
