Troubled Hearts - Compassionate God, at times our hearts seem troubled. When this happens, everything becomes an effort, life is difficult, and we struggle to be faithful. In these moments remind us of your Son’s words “For human beings it is impossible, but not for God. All things are possible for God” Do not let us be afraid and thus give in to life’s troubles. Rather help us, stay close to you, by reaching out to others, doing something creative with passion, and always living the fullness of life. Enliven us always in your Holy Spirit of hope, so that we may live life with Passion together. And may the Passion of Jesus Christ be always in our hearts! Amen.

So with more confidence, in Jesus’ mighty name, and with the intercession of His Blessed Virgin Mother Mary, I pray: Let us have more vocations, be these of priests, nuns, deacons or Catholic marriages. Dear Lord I pray for nonviolence in our world. A special prayer for wisdom, knowledge and understanding to make smart decision for an optimal outcome for all concerns in any role I have to undertake and especially were my job is concerned this week. Peace, health and happiness to all.

For all who cannot change and cannot live in a civilized World to be housed in facilities that can deal with their behavior and actions.

Thank you dear Lord for all that I have - my health, secure job, financially stable. I pray that you bring peace into my family. May my children appreciate the sacrifices we have made for them. May they become more selfless and more aware of their role in our family. As adults they are soon realising what life throws at them and I pray that they will appreciate what they have and what they have been given - health, physical and mental ability to do what they choose and parents that are always there for them.
