I like to light a candle to the Blessed Mother in thanksgiving for seeing me through hurricane Sandy. I am disabled and received a call from Con Edison that my power would be shut off around seven PM on Monday. I started to get very nervous, but instead kept saying" There is FAITH or FEAR. I then started to say the rosary to our dear Mother to protect everyone in the wake of the hurricane. My power stayed on, as did my cell phone and cable. The wind was howling, but our Blessed Mother was protecting us. All my family members and friends came through ok. I am very grateful.

Please Dear God and Blessed Virgin Mary please be with my son and his football team tomorrow night as they play another game to help win the state championship. They have practiced and played so hard, please let their hard work show through by providing them the opportunity to win. Please help my son display his talent and skill so he can be offered a scholarship to continue his love of football. please just protect them all from injury. Pleasse help tem with every play and help them work as a team in your glory. Your will be done.

My daughter and her family live in New York, she had melonoma, they took the cancer out , I repuest prayers for her that it will not ever come back and she is right in the place of the hurricane, with all the stress she has been under I asked for God to grant her safety from the horrible storm and she will be relieved of all her stress. thank you and god bless

Dear God, I beseech you to watch over seven dear people to me who are dealing with health issues: Sarah who was in a car accident last Friday who has a pelvic fracture, a broken hip and a broken leg; Andy who received the gift of life from a dear man at the end of July by getting his heart; Msgr. Jerry who is undergoing treatment; Renee who found out that she has lupus and is only a teenager in high school; Jeremy whose mother gives updates on Facebook; Lynn's friend who was in a coma and who is battling; Deb who is battling breast cancer; Diane's friend's son who is dealing with lung issues. Jesus healed while he was here on Earth. I ask that healing be given for each of those listed. I ask too that no bad happens with Sandy hitting the East Coast--hoping that if/when she does make land fall that it is *not* high tide and that she moves quickly away so as to not cause too much flooding. Please watch over and guide all of those responsible for the Sunday Mass. I ask these things in your Son's, Jesus' name. Amen

Most Precious Jesus, Please continue to bless baby Davis Lowe, that his new heart transplant continues to beat and all the complications soon disappear(he is turning 1 yr old soon and has had this heart problem since birth). Please continue to bless the donors of this heart for comfort on the loss of their loved one. Give peace and strength to the entire family of Davis. I love thee dear Jesus, you are my strength and salvation. I watch Mass at 5:30 am on Sunday and find great strength in it. Thank you.
