Lord, I have been struggling with this latest surgery. By far the worst in the past ten months. Help me to renew my faith in the medical profession and to trust again. Help me not to pity myself because that is not like me. My strength and resolve is wavering. I want to be a warrior against other people’s wantonness and carry a shield against it and them! Help me to learn not to be inpatient and to open my heart again to all the great things this life offers. Thank you for my life, my family, my friends, my neighbors and yes my 4 legged companions. Please keep them all healthy so we can praise and serve You! Amen.
